The two current members of the Board of Managing Directors Andreas Pohl and Andreas Rehfus will in future manage Deutsche Hypothekenbank as a duo. The bank’s Supervisory Board has decided not to fill the position of Chairman of the Board of Managing Directors, which has been vacant since the start of the year when Thomas S. Bürkle joined the Board of Management of NORD/LB. Market Director Andreas Pohl will acts as the spokesman for the Board of Managing Directors.

Our real estate subsidiary represents an important cornerstone of the NORD/LB Group,” stated Dr. Gunter Dunkel, Chairman of the Board of Management of NORD/LB and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Deutsche Hypo. “My Supervisory Board colleagues and I are convinced that Deutsche Hypo will continue its positive development under the management Andreas Pohl and Andreas Rehfus.
Andreas Pohl (56) has worked for the NORD/LB Group since 1979. He built up NORD/LB’s Real Estate Banking Department, which he managed up until 2008. He has since been a member of the Board of Managing Directors of Deutsche Hypo and is responsible in particular for the bank’s market divisions.
Andreas Rehfus (49) joined Deutsche Hypo in 1995 and was responsible from 1997 for the Controlling Department. He was appointed executive manager in 2005. Since 2007 he has been a member of the Board of Managing Directors of Deutsche Hypo and is primarily responsible for the bank’s back office divisions.
